The Peninsula Cottage in Garrabost was the ideal spot for us as a family to enjoy some cycling adventures. The area offered scenic bike trails, perfect for exploring with the kids. We had a blast pedaling through charming villages and taking in the stunning countryside views. It was a truly memorable experience!
For dads, it would be great to have a few more outdoor play options for the children.

I had a fantastic stay at this lovely cottage. It was beautifully decorated and had all the comforts I needed. I enjoyed being able to cook and do laundry, as well as lounge in the living room. The cottage was in a quiet location and had parking on site. The beach was only a short walk away, and I even spotted seals! The cottage was clean and had excellent facilities.
Nothing I didn't like to be fair.

The cottage was absolutely beautiful with tasteful decor and plenty of natural light. It had all the amenities you could possibly need, including a dishwasher and a washing machine. The host even provided little extras like milk, sugar, and specialty coffees, which were a lovely touch. The location was nice and quiet, and there was convenient on-site parking. One of the best things about the cottage was the stunning views and the well-kept surroundings. It was also just a short drive away from the town center, making it a great location.
One small downside was that the cottage didn't have a secure garden for dogs, but that was my own oversight for not checking beforehand. However, the space around the cottage was still amazing for dogs on a lead, so it wasn't a major issue.
